Thanks to its modular structure, the 9-inch SPH-EVO950DAB-UNI2 can be fitted to cars where this was previously impossible. 9" Capacitive touchscreen modular multimedia player with easy smartphone connectivity supporting Apple CarPlay wireless, Android Auto wireless, DAB/DAB+ Digital Radio, CarAVAssist App, Spotify, Waze, Bluetooth and a 13-band GEQ
With the ‘floating’ or ‘tablet’ style installation the SPH-EVO950DAB-UNI2 modular receiver can be installed into many vehicle types, for example, traditional 2-DIN, or vehicles where a traditional stereo does not fit thanks to its unique universal floating installation or in-dash installation capabilities.
Pioneer introduces two new unique capabilities on the SPH-EVO950DAB-UNI2.
1. Pioneer Split Screen Mode, to display and control specific functions on an adjacent partition of the screen by dynamically resizing the Apple CarPlay or Android Auto user interface.
2. Selectable Viewing Mode, giving you enhanced visibility by allowing you to switch the mode of the screen between Light Mode and Dark Mode, to suit your preference.
Wi-Fi®With built-in Wi-Fi® you can enjoy wireless connectivity specifically designed to support a cable free data connection between your smartphone and the receiver.
Apple CarPlayIs the smarter, safer and more fun way to use your iPhone® in the car. Apple CarPlay gives iPhone users an incredibly intuitive way to make calls, use Maps, listen to music, and access messages with just a word or a touch. Apple CarPlay requires iPhone 5 or newer with the latest version of iOS
Android Auto - Extends the Android platform into the car in a way that’s purpose-built for driving and automatically brings you useful information and organises it into simple cards that appear just when they’re needed. It’s designed to minimise distraction so you can stay focused on the road ahead. Android Auto is compatible with Android phones running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later. Android Auto may not be available on all devices and is not available in all countries or regions.
Waze - Waze is a social GPS driving/navigation app that offers map, real-time traffic, and various other information for you to access on the large display of Pioneer compatible multimedia devices
DAB+ - Enjoy the convenience of listening to your favourite radio stations in crystal clear digital quality thanks to a built-in Digital Radio tuner.
