With their new DigiFrame 857, Braun presents the development of its models 850 and 855. The PC-independent digital picture frame with its elegant matt black design features a 20,3 cm (8“) TFT LED Display with LED back light technology and an image resolution of 1024 x 768 Pixel in a picture-friendly format of 4:3.
Not only can the frame display digital pictures, but with its latest chip technology also plays Full HD video clips (1080p) as MPEG1, MPEG2 und MPEG4 formats, as well as AVI, M-JPEG, MKV, WMV, ASF MOV, MP4, H.264, 3GP, Divx4.0 and Divx5.0 or music files (MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, FLAC and WAV format). The TFT LED Display also features a headphone jack as well as integrated speakers to highlight snapshots or holiday pictures (in JPEG, BMP, GIF, TIF or PNG format) with fitting background music. Additionally, an automatic slide show with different effects and starting times can be activated. The new picture frame has a clock and calendar function, and the on/off times can be individually programmed. The digital picture frame can be regulated with the included IR remote control, and the user-friendly menu screen.
The Braun DigiFrame 857 can be used in portrait or landscape format, and can be mounted on the wall. Its weight is a mere 440 g and a compact size of 220 x 176 x 23 mm. The included 5 V/ 1,5A adapter (100-240V / 50 – 60 Hz) is used for the power supply. The DigiFrame 857 has an SD card slot (SD, SDHC und MMC), or a USB slot for memory sticks.
